The #75Hard Program And Why I’m Doing It For The Second Time This Year

On march 5th 2020 I started a program that completely flipped my life around, that program is called 75 Hard. With this program I was able to accomplish so much in just 75 days, those accomplishments weren’t financial, or career driven, what I was able to accomplish was releasing myself from self limiting beliefs, confidence issues, wastes of time, and my dead end of a future.

Let me explain 75 Hard for you, it’s a 75 day mental toughness challenge created by Andy Frisella that has 5 simple steps that must be done DAILY FOR 75 DAYS IN A ROW

  • 2 45 Minute Workouts (One MUST be outside, this eliminates excuses)
  • Read 10 Pages of a non-fiction book that pushes you closer to your main goal (Become a Life Long Learner)
  • Follow a Diet (No cheat meals, no alcohol, no compromise) (This teaches you to say NO to junk food)
  • Take a progress picture everyday (showing skin, no one has to ever see these its for building self confidence and being comfortable seeing your body)
  • Drink 1 Gallon of Water (we are 70%+ water, if you’re not sufficiently hydrated you aren’t anywhere near 100% capabilities)

IF YOU FAIL ANY TASK YOU ARE TO START AGAIN FROM DAY 1

Now to many people this must seem borderline crazy, no cheat meals, no breaks, no alcohol, how could someone do this? Or you may be thinking this isn’t a mental toughness program, its a physical challenge. I thought the same all last year when this program was first introduced into my life, but it can’t be any further from the truth. If you can do these tasks everyday with no compromise for 75 days straight then you will come out a whole new person, someone who commits themselves to a task and not only finishes it every time but OVERPERFORMS.

Despite all the good things I have read from people who completed the challenge, I never thought I would be able to do it… until March 5th, 2020. 

Disgusted with myself and my life I knew I needed to change up my habits and daily actions if I wanted to truly change my life for the better. So I decided I would give 75 Hard a go in hopes I would gain the qualities others seemed to have gained in 75 short days. And I can now look back and confidently say it was my best decision I have made.

3 Days after I started 75 Hard the quarantine started, and without any knowledge of how long we would actually be in lock down I buckled down and decided I would take this time to better myself.

Through this program I learned the importance of daily action, and how great success and results can only be achieved over long periods of time with continuous action. I erased the short term satisfaction that is plaguing the minds of so many.

And now we go back to yesterday, October 17th, 2020, which is 75 days before the new year I decided to start 75 Hard again. To me this is the best way to gain and keep momentum going into 2021, and the best way for me to keep myself in the high performer mindset.

This program got me on track, and now that the quarantine is here to stay indefinitely and is starting to take a toll on my mental I know I must keep myself on the right track or else I risk falling into old habits and sabotage all I have worked for and my dreams.

I started 75 Hard again because in 2021 I plan to make my wildest dreams a reality. 

I started 75 Hard again to show myself what i’m really capable of, and to erase the “bitch voice” in my head that tells me I can’t and that I should just go play video games.

I started 75 Hard again to keep myself on track to gain the financial success to alleviate my parents of any financial stress again.

I started 75 Hard again to show my friends they are not stuck, they are one good decision away from starting their new life.

75 Hard is more than just a program to me, it’s the single thing that broke me out of my mental prison and turned me into a high performer. 

With 75 days left in this year I refuse to slow down, I refuse to give up, and I refuse to watch my dreams fade away on the little dopamine box in my pocket.

If you read this far, you may be skeptical of what I say I have gained from this program, but the only way for you to find out is for you to pay the very little price of committing yourself to self excellence for 75 days, to come out bigger, better, happier, and more confident.

This program won’t make your dreams come true in 75 days, however this program will show you just how possible your goals are if you remove the “I can’t” statements from your day, remove the sentences that start with “that’s just not for me” and start replacing them with “what tasks do I take today to reach my goal” and “I CAN, I WILL”

And this is why I am once again doing 75 Hard, and when I complete it I hope I can show anyone skeptical that even an overweight piece of shit stoner like my former self can make great changes happen one day at a time.
